Our project director Ashley Greenwald was recently invited to Nevada First Lady Kathleen Sandoval‘s Children’s Mental Health Summit.
One of the First Lady’s top initiatives is children’s mental health, and she continues to work to ensure that this remains a top priority in the State of Nevada. In service of this initiative, Mrs. Sandoval hosts an annual Children’s Mental Health Summit to raise awareness about issues around children’s mental health, to discuss the services available to Nevada’s children, and to have a conversation about ways to improve and strengthen Nevada’s communities.
This year Ashley Greenwald, the Project Director for the Nevada PBIS Technical Assistance Center, was invited to the Summit to talk about the School Climate Transformation Grant, and the work being done across the state as a result of the grant. She was also able to hear about other Nevada projects, and make invaluable partnerships for the continued work we are all doing to support children in schools across the state.
