This project began in 2015 with a 1 year development grant from Nevada’s Aging and Disabilities Services Division. The PBS-Nevada Aging Project spent one year developing relationships with local agencies that provide services to the aging population, researching applications of applied behavior analysis and positive behavior support to the aging population, and individuals living with neurocognitive disorders including Alzheimer’s Disease, and developing a new training curriculum focusing on issues that affect the elderly and their care partners.
This Project includes training and consultation through workshops for individuals with Alzheimer’s and other neurocognitive disorders and their care partners and individual consultations with one of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts, as well as consultation with a clinical psychologist.
We do not have any workshops scheduled at this time.
